Both of these vintage heart locket brooches are made of goldtone metal.
The heart topped with a bow is about 2" high x 1 1/2" wide. The front of the locket has a shimmery mother of pearl heart attached. There is some glue residue, so there was likely something attached to the front at one time.
The back of this locket is engraved in script "To Mom With Love From Shirley 1949", making this brooch at least 75 years old.
The "Mother" heart locket depicts the U.S. Capitol in goldtone metal on the front, accented with rhinestones & set against an ivory-colored celluloid heart. It measures 1 3/4" x 1 3/4".
Both lockets have some surface scratches due to age & neither has a maker's mark.
They are lovely collectibles & would make nice gifts.
