Coveralls for U.S. Navy submarine crew members.
Also known as a one-piece or jumpsuit, a so-called "tsunagi" (work suit).

Designed for deck work during submarine surfacing, it features a thick nylon waterproof shell.
The lining is made of a wetsuit-like material for cold protection and buoyancy, allowing the wearer to float if they fall off the deck.
Unlike surface ships, submarine deck work often involves falling into the sea, so it's a one-piece construction instead of separate pieces, and even the hood has lining.
Cuffs and hems have Velcro adjusters.
Drainage holes are present.
IDEAL brass zipper.

Deadstock, unused, personal storage item.
There is some minor soiling here and there, but judging from the condition of the tags, Velcro, and folding creases, it appears to be from storage rather than use.
Therefore, it is considered unused, but I have selected "Like New".
It is in good condition for those who understand military surplus items.
It seems to be a rare item from the 80s to the early 90s for special purposes, and even used XL sizes are rarely sold at overseas auctions for nearly 50,000 yen.

Flat measurements: Total length 150cm, shoulder width 52cm, body width 58cm, sleeve length 57cm, waist 57cm (with Velcro adjuster), inseam 68cm
The torso is adjusted to a height of around 170cm.
The hem will be just about at floor level.
According to U.S. military recommended sizes, it seems to cover heights from 170 to 180cm.
