The book has a beautiful dark green cloth cover with gilt decoration and gilt cards on the cover. Size: 7.5 x 5.25”. Contents including, but not limited to, All Fives, All Fours, Auction Pitch, Baccarat, Backgammon, Bezique, Billiards, Boston, California Jack, Catch the Ten, Chess, Commercial Pitch, and more. The backstrip has shelf-wear with cloth missing and pulling upward on the lower edge. The gilt on the backstrip is slightly darkened. The cover corners are bumped with under-board exposed. The back cover is embossed. The endpapers are brown. The title page is half-loose and pulling away. The interior pages are stiff and intact with moderate tanning throughout. The hinge is cracked at the “Preface” and the cover is pulling away from the inner spine. 514 pages.
